As we continue the stay at home order. We come more and more anxious to go out and see people we miss. We however realize that staying remotely connected has been more important that ever. Keeping each other safe and healthy is worth staying home for. The pictures we took this week the subject and the photographer enjoyed because it really depicted how our town has personally responded to the Covid-19 outbreak. Along with these photos, we found benches with cones zip-tied to them to prevent multiple people from sitting at the tables. We found hand washing stations in Old Town. Stores filled with people wearing masks as they are now made mandatory. T

Eve Stidham posing for her mugshot 5/2/2020 12:27pm Eve Stidham  is an eighth grade student at Siuslaw Middle School. She is the middle of three children, and loves getting into trouble. Eve is a wise soul for being as young as she is. She is witty, creative, and maybe a little too sarcastic. She loves to listen to music, posing for pictures, and spending time with her dogs and friends. During the Pandemic, Eve has been learning to juggle her new online courses, as well as learning to cope with a lack of social interaction. She is a butterfly in the social aspect, and can not wait to be able to legally go back to the beach and be out in the sun. Here is Eve Stidham posing with some local graffiti. 5/3/2020 5:43pm This week was definitely one for the books! Beginning the routes around town to find different settings to take pictures with or in front of. Around The Farm

Living on a farm is a wonderful experience that always keeps you busy. There are always animals to feed, and fun to be had. Adventure is just a short walk down the path being immersed in the Siuslaw National Forest. I do not leave much now due to the stay at home order, but plan on venturing out for more subjects to photograph around my community. This week I shot what I found was beautiful around our farm. Enjoy some of my favorite creatures to roam the area.

Humans of LBCC / Self Portrait

My name is Ella Stidham, I am currently beginning my third and final term at LBCC. Amidst the Corona pandemic, I have really become in tune with my sense of nature, and the outdoors. I love to fish, ride ATV’s, and swim. I live in Florence, which gives me the perfect balance of the forest, the ocean, and the dunes. Taking a walk through the trees sounds perfect any time of day. Listening to music has also been an activity I have become fonder of since the pandemic has started. I listen to everything from Classical to Rock, but have been focusing more this term of music form different cultures. I love to sing. And I love to travel and learn about people living in other cultures. I am a colorful, eclectic person, and you will typically find me rocking my tie dye shirts, I have a ton of them.

Hello there! Ella in Machu Picchu, Peru, 2018 I am Ella Stidham, a first year, JN 134 student at LBCC. I plan on graduating this spring 2020. Afterwards, I plan on attending OSU working on a BA in Business. I have recently settled back in Florence, Oregon where I had previously resided for three years. I love where I live, it is the perfect blend between trees, sand, and the ocean. Being born and raised in Oregon is an integral factor in the person I have become. I have grown away from the stereotypical hipster Portlandian, yet have fallen into the categorial stereotype of progressive Oregonian teenager. I find everything interesting, and am always scavenging for random facts to file into the rolodex that is my brain. I chose to join this course to take a walk on the wild side. I love to travel, but with the Coronavirus pandemic ravaging the world, this course will give me a reason to leave the house to go find the beautiful parts of my town. It is very easy to overlook the
